Boudoir & Brocante

 

The Boudoir and Brocante shop is kind of a collab between Susanne Idun Mørch and I. Susanne and I had been friends since childhood and went to school together. Unfortunately Susanne passed away Jan. 2020, but her memory and miniature creations lives on in many peoples minds and collections.

Susanne and I merged our names when we attended our first miniature fair together in 2011. Susannes miniature blog was then named Petite Brocante and mine GypsyBoudoirMiniatures. 

When Susanne passed I was gifted the shop which she made along with lots of her private collection and items she had made. I wanted to treasure our friendship by joining both our miniatures and other artists in the Boudoir and Brocante shop. 

The shop front is made entirely by Susanne and I didn´t want to make any changes to it. Same with the wooden floor planks. 

Future plan is to make windows with print of the shop name. The Boudoir and Brocante is still a work in progress.

I purchased the pretty girls dress at a fair. It is made by Marie - Minis2you.

The patinated stand and the tiny toy sheep is by Susanne. Balls are vintage marbles. Teddy bear and tiny shoes are painted by me. Hydrangea by me and the pale green pitcher is from Lisbeth - MiniPot.
